A good day to start this new venture My chef husband (Hubby) was home today and had some meal ideas to go around our errands for the day. So first it was off to Little Portugal for lunch at Porchetta & Co. I had the porchetta sandwich with tomatoes and mozzarella. Hubby had the sandwich with truffle sauce. And like the Italian wannabes that we are, we both had Aranciata. Back to the car to eat and enjoy! Although I should have asked Hubby for a sample of the truffle sauce. Next time!
Then down to business. I needed some cake decorating supplies which put us in the right part of town for the Baklava King. This was an accidental discovery on another weekend adventure and it's now a sweet treat. Some day we will ask exactly what the ones we are getting are called but for now an assortment by pointing is working just fine.
For dinner Hubby suggested another small place but out in the East end. The Burger's Priest. A great burger and fries and a fun concept. And they had cream soda which just makes me happy.
A good day.
